The Old Way...
Try only small amounts first! Use the applicator brush from one bottle to put a drop on an index card, then use the applicator from the other bottle to put a drop next to the first droplet, do not let the first drop touch the second applicator brush. Once you have 2 test drops, mix them with a new clean tooth pick.
The New Way....
You can certainly test colors but funnels and palettes aren't needed.
